ARI Supported project:
Explode! Escola brings together the Explode! platform and UCSC’s Art department, through a two-week learning immersion, from the proposition of an invited international artist. There will be an open call in which we will invite UCSC students, staff and faculty, to work together for two weeks with the invited artist and in dialogue, support, and collaboration with the woodshop staff. Students will be invited to propose pieces/objects/artistic works that carry with them non-hegemonic dimensions of the body, ways of living, knowledge, rituals, techniques, and technologies.
